1. About Us
This website is operated by Inky Dinky Ltd, trading as Inky Dinky Saddles.
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Inky Dinky Ltd trading as Inky Dinky Saddles. “You” and “your” mean the person using our website or placing an order with us.
Company name: Inky Dinky Ltd
Company number: 10817905
Registered office: Office Suite F10, Newcom Business Centre, 125 Poplar High Street, London, E14 0AE, United Kingdom
Email: enquiries@inkydinkysaddles.com
These Terms apply to your use of our website and to all orders placed through it.
Please read them carefully before placing an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms affects any legal rights you may have under the laws of the country in which you live.
2. Our Website and Related Policies
These Terms should be read alongside our:
- Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy
- Delivery and Shipping Policy
- Privacy Policy
- Cookie Policy, where applicable
Those policies form part of the agreement between you and us.
Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a policy that gives you greater consumer protection, the policy or applicable consumer law will apply.
3. Who Can Place an Order
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on our website.
Our products are designed for children, ponies and horses, but purchases must be made by a parent, legal guardian or other adult with authority to enter into a contract.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- you are legally able to enter into a binding contract;
- the information you provide is accurate and complete;
- you are authorised to use the payment method provided; and
- you are purchasing for personal use, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe that it is fraudulent, unauthorised, intended for resale without permission, or contains incorrect pricing or availability information.
4. Product Information and Images
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, colours and prices are accurate.
However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device settings and lighting conditions. Product photographs are intended to give a clear representation of the item, but small variations in colour, finish, leather grain, stitching or materials may occur.
All product descriptions, sizes, compatibility guidance and fitting information should be read carefully before ordering.
Where a product is made from natural materials, including leather, minor differences in texture, colour or finish are normal and do not affect the quality or safety of the product.
We may update product descriptions, specifications, prices, photographs or availability at any time. This will not affect an order that has already been accepted, except where we need to correct an obvious error.
5. Saddle Fitting, Product Use and Safety
Equestrian activities involve inherent risks. No saddle, riding equipment, safety product or accessory can remove all risk of injury to a rider, horse, pony or other person.
Our products must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any fitting, care, safety and use instructions provided with the product or on our website.
Before every use, you should check that all equipment is clean, undamaged, correctly assembled, correctly adjusted and suitable for the horse, pony and rider.
Children must always be supervised by a responsible adult when handling, riding or using equestrian equipment.
We strongly recommend that all riders wear a correctly fitted and appropriate riding helmet, footwear and other suitable safety equipment.
Any general fitting, sizing or product guidance provided by us is intended to help customers make an informed choice. It does not replace an in-person saddle-fitting assessment where one is needed. You are responsible for ensuring that the saddle and equipment remain suitable for your individual horse, pony and rider as they grow, change shape or develop.
Do not continue to use a product if it is damaged, excessively worn, incorrectly fitted or causes concern. Please contact us for advice before further use.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products in your basket.
After you place your order, we will send an email confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted.
Your order is accepted when we send you a dispatch confirmation email, unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
We may be unable to accept an order for reasons including:
- the product is unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- there has been an obvious error in the price or product description;
- delivery is not available to your address; or
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised resale.
Where we cannot accept an order, we will contact you using the details you provided and refund any payment taken for unavailable items.
Please check your order carefully before completing payment. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will try to help, but once an order has been dispatched or personalised, a change may not be possible.
7. Prices, Taxes and Payments
Prices are shown in the currency selected on our website or at checkout.
The price you pay is the price displayed at the time you place your order, including any applicable discount or promotion. Delivery costs, taxes, VAT, sales taxes, import duties and customs charges will be shown at checkout where applicable.
For UK and EU orders, applicable taxes are included at checkout. Import duties to the US and all other countries (excluding the UK and EU) will be collected direct from the customer by our courier company (usually DHL)
For orders delivered outside the UK and EU, local import duties, sales taxes, customs charges or carrier administration fees may be payable unless the checkout clearly states that they are included. These charges are set by the destination country or carrier and are outside our control.
You are responsible for ensuring that the products you order may legally be imported into your country.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must be authorised before an order can be processed.
Where we discover an obvious pricing error after an order has been placed, we may contact you to offer the option of paying the correct price or cancelling the order for a full refund.
8. Delivery
Delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and in our Delivery and Shipping Policy.
We aim to dispatch orders within the times stated on the relevant product page or at checkout. Dispatch and delivery times may vary depending on stock availability, destination, carrier capacity, customs processing and events outside our reasonable control.
Where an unexpected delay occurs, we will contact you using the email address supplied with your order. You may have the right to cancel an undelivered order and receive a refund where required by applicable law.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays, losses or additional delivery costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you.
Risk in the products passes to you when you, or someone identified by you, takes physical possession of the goods.
Ownership of products passes to you only once we have received payment in full.
9. Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges
Our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy explains our 30-day return policy, how to return an item, refund timing, exchanges and return postage.
For customers in the United Kingdom and European Union, online purchases usually include a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. You then normally have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
Our 30-day returns policy is offered in addition to your statutory cancellation rights.
The right to cancel may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, except where the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
Nothing in these Terms or our Returns Policy affects your legal rights in relation to faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed products.
10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete or not as described. Please include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where possible.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may offer a repair, replacement, exchange, partial refund or full refund.
Any manufacturer’s guarantee or voluntary warranty offered by us is in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory consumer rights.
For customers in the European Union, legal guarantees of conformity may apply for a minimum period required by the law of your country.
11. Website Accounts
You may be able to create an account on our website.
You are responsible for keeping your account details and password confidential. You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.
12. Acceptable Use of Our Website
You may use our website only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes.
You must not:
- use the website in a way that damages, disrupts or interferes with its security or operation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;

- use automated systems, bots, scrapers or data-mining tools without our written permission;
- copy, reproduce, publish, resell or commercially exploit website content without our written permission;

- use our website in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including photographs, videos, graphics, illustrations, product descriptions, logos, designs, trademarks, text, branding and website layout, is owned by or licensed to Inky Dinky Saddles.
You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use only.
You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute, publish, display, sell or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
14. Reviews, Photos and Customer Content
Where you submit a review, photograph, video, testimonial, comment or other content to us, you confirm that:
- you own the content or have permission to share it;
- it is truthful and not misleading;
- it does not infringe another person’s rights; and
- it does not contain unlawful, offensive, defamatory or inappropriate material.
By submitting content to us, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, share and adapt that content for operating, promoting and improving our business, products and services.
We may remove content that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably consider inappropriate.
15. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, social-media platforms or other services.
These third parties operate independently from us. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices or terms of third-party websites or services.
Please read their terms and policies before using them.
16. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our website is hosted and supported by Shopify and other service providers that help us process orders, payments, deliveries, marketing and customer enquiries.
Please read our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, store and protect personal information.
17. Our Liability
We are responsible for losses or damage that you suffer as a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence.
We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, caused by events outside our reasonable control, or caused by your failure to follow product care, fitting or safety instructions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded; or
- any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
If you are buying as a consumer, we are not liable for business losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website and will show the date it was last updated.
Changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted unless required by law or where the change is clearly in your favour.
19. Governing Law and Your Local Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
However, if you are a consumer living outside England and Wales, you will continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence that cannot legally be excluded or limited by these Terms.
Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim in a court or forum where mandatory law gives you the right to do so.
20. Other Important Terms
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in force.
Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with the policies referred to in them, form the agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our website and purchases from us.
